| 5/11/07 - NLW - INVICTA CELEBRATE TITLE VICTORY
Invicta readily admitted that their form in matches at Bath University with Tyldesley and Sheffield was disappointing. But when it came to clinching the Division Two title against nearest challengers Solihull, it was very different – the Midlanders were outplayed 17-6. | 18/11/07 - Pat - MARLINS TAKE THE DIV 3 TITLE IN STYLE |
| The Invicta Marlins pulled out all the stops in their final weekend of the season to walk away as Div 3 Champions. In a weekend where the top 4 sides all met each other and harbouring their own hopes for promotion, the Marlins stepped up their game and took 5 points to clinch the title. In the last game of the 3 they came up against an inform Caledonian side with the winner of the clash taking the title. Everything seemed to come together at the right time and in front of a large travelling support the Marlins put on a true show of teamwork and tactical cohesion. The goals were flying in from all areas of the pool and the intensive Marlins defence combined with an outstanding performance in goal by Eliot Murphy left the Scots short of ideas upfront. The game ended 15-5 and the Marlins were crowned DIV 3 CHAMPIONS! |

| 20/1/08 - Pat - Time to pay up! Membership |
| This year the AGM was combined with the Invicta Christmas party with both being a success in their own right. For issues raised in the AGM please read the attached document. A special thanks should go to Fred for organising the Christmas party. This was a surprising difficult job as the majority of the clubs players find communication a difficult skill yet excel at complaining when they don't get exactly what they want. I guess we're just lucky to have mystic Fred to read everyone's mind! |
| Invicta as a club are working hard to achieve accreditation. Please see the new Swim 21 page on the website for more details. |
